Description

The ashtray slot in a 1996–2002 4Runner center console is the right size for a charging port and the wrong shape for anything else. This TEQ Offroad power panel snaps into that slot in place of the ashtray and gives you a clean billet aluminum face for a 12V or USB socket. There are no screws to drive and nothing to cut.

The panel takes standard round 12V socket inserts, so you are not tied to a proprietary plug that could be discontinued. It was shaped so the factory cup holders still open and close normally.

Build your panel

Bezel only: bring your own socket and wiring. Two right-angle spade connectors come in the box.
Add the USB socket: a USB-A plus USB-C combination socket with 45W PD and QuickCharge 3.0, ready to drop in.
Add the plug-and-play harness: braided wire, a built-in fuse, a factory-style piggyback connector, and properly sized wiring.

USB Charging for a Truck Built Before USB

The 3rd gen 4Runner left the factory with an ashtray where a newer truck would have charging ports. TEQ Offroad designed this panel to turn that opening into a power point without changing anything else in the console. It clips in the way the ashtray did, and the cup holders keep working.

A small part with three jobs: fit the opening, hold the socket, and stay out of the way.

Billet, Not Stamped

The bezel is precision-milled from solid aluminum and anodized matte black, so it has the weight and finish of a machined part rather than a bent sheet of metal.

Snap-Fit Mounting

It locks into the ashtray slot the same way the original ashtray did. No screws go into the console, which means no new holes in decades-old plastic.

Your Socket or Ours

The opening takes a standard round 12V insert, so a replacement is easy to find. Pick the 45W USB-A plus USB-C socket at checkout if you want one ready to go.

Fitment

Which 4Runner years does it fit?

All 1996–2002 Toyota 4Runners. It replaces the ashtray in the center console.

Will I lose my cup holders?

No. The panel was designed so the factory cup holders still move normally.

Wiring

Is a socket included?

Not with the bezel-only option. Choose the 45W USB-A plus USB-C socket option, or fit any standard round 12V socket insert you already own.

Do I need the plug-and-play harness?

Only if you would rather not make your own. The bezel ships with two right-angle spade connectors for a DIY hookup. The harness adds braided wire, a built-in fuse, and a factory-style piggyback connector.

Can I add the harness later?

Yes. The plug-and-play harness is also sold on its own.
