About TEQ Offroad
I started this journey in 2019 when I was trying to find a solid way to mount gear in my 1998 Toyota 4Runner. After coming up empty-handed, I decided to dive into CAD, learn the skills, and design my own solution. What started as a personal project turned into a full-blown passion, and by 2020, TEQ Offroad was officially up and running.
I do everything myself — product design, testing, customer service, order fulfillment, website development — you name it, I’m behind it. Every product you see on this site has been personally designed, tested, and shipped by me.
What sets TEQ Offroad apart is the commitment to supporting the Toyota community — especially the older vehicles that often get overlooked by bigger brands. I daily drive a ‘98 4Runner, and I’ve always felt that those of us with older rigs deserve the same innovation and support. Even though there’s less money in that niche, I believe in building for it anyway — because it's what I love, and it’s the right thing to do.
Most of what I make from TEQ Offroad goes right back into the business. I’m constantly reinvesting in new tools, research, and product development — all with the goal of pushing this community forward and making quality parts more accessible.
At the end of the day, I’m here to learn more, build more, and give back as much as I can. Thanks for being a part of this journey.

First of all, I can be fairly critical when it comes to automotive upgrades. This kit is SUPER well thought out and simple. The loom is clean, and cut to perfect length. And it is way bright! Install was quick and super simple. I genuinely can't believe have nice of a kit this is, especially for the money. If you're on the fence, please just do it. You definitely will not regret it.
Very easy install. Product came with instructions and are very clear. I will definitely get the universal kit for my other vehicles.
Super nice quality. Easy installation I ran it with a fuse tap to the ignition, but also have a fuse tap to a spare if I want constant power.

Super easy install, and product is like no other definitely the best around!
The install was easy. It took about 30 minutes. It feels fairly sturdy. I have not had a chance to install my Auxbeam 8 gang swith unit. I did mock it up.
