A Real Power Station in Your 5th Gen Cargo Area

The factory rear power panel in a 5th Gen 4Runner sits right where you load your gear. The TEQ Offroad Cargo Power Panel replaces it with a billet aluminum panel that keeps your factory 120V outlet and adds a 12V socket, fast USB charging, lighted switches and a live volt reading, so phones, fridges and other accessories all get clean, reliable power from the back of the truck.

It plugs into the factory rear outlet connector with an OEM-grade connector and snaps into place by hand in under 2 minutes, so there's no cutting, splicing, prying or tools. Already running another brand's rear panel? The Billet Housing Only kit lets you move your existing components into billet aluminum. Every panel is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Built for the Trail

Design Details Behind the Cargo Power Panel

Billet aluminum, real 12V and USB-C power, powered switches and a volt meter, all in the factory spot.

Billet, Not 3D-Printed

Precision-machined from solid aluminum and anodized black for a clean, durable finish that resists wear and corrosion. Built to handle trail vibration and cargo-area heat.

Snap Fit, Not Pressure Fit

Mechanical clips lock the panel in. It seats flush every time and won't vibrate loose or back out as the trim wears.

OEM-Grade Plug-and-Play

Plugs straight into the factory rear outlet connector. No loose spade terminals to rattle off on washboard roads, and the 2 extra switches come pre-wired with 12V, so there are no new power wires to run to the battery.

5th Gen 4Runner Cargo Power Panel Questions

Fitment
Will it fit my trim?
Yes. It fits every 2010 - 2024 5th Gen 4Runner, all trims, in the factory rear cargo power panel location.
What if my 4Runner doesn't have the factory 120V outlet?
No problem. Some 5th Gen 4Runners came with only a 12V outlet and no 120V plug. Answer "No" to "Does your 4Runner have the factory 120V outlet?" when you order, and you'll get a cover with switch that fills the 120V spot and gives you one more switch.
Is the 120V outlet included?
No. You transplant your 4Runner's factory 120V outlet into the TEQ panel. The photos show how it looks after that. If your 4Runner has no factory 120V outlet, answer No to the outlet question when you order and you'll get the cover with switch to fill that spot.
Does this work with the always-on 400W harness?
Yes. The TEQ panel doesn't change how your factory 120V outlet works. That same outlet is transplanted into the panel, so if it's always on with the 400W harness today, it stays that way.
Power
Are the switches powered?
Yes. The panel has 3 lighted switches. The master switch turns the whole panel off, so it draws nothing when you're not using it. The 2 extra switches come pre-wired with 12V and ready for accessories, so you can wire in rear lighting, a fridge or other gear without running new power wires to the battery.
Does it work with the key off?
Out of the box, the panel gets power exactly the way your factory rear outlet does, with no modifications to your 4Runner. Want power with the truck off? A TEQ kit for that is coming soon. In the meantime, you can do it yourself with this step-by-step forum guide, which covers both 2010-2019 and 2020+ trucks. The DIY mod is done at your own risk, and heavy loads like fridges can drain your starting battery when the truck is off.
Kits & Install
What's the difference between Fully Assembled and Billet Housing Only?
Fully Assembled is the complete panel with the ports, 12V socket, switches and volt meter already installed, ready to plug in. Billet Housing Only is the billet aluminum housing by itself, for owners of another brand's rear panel who want to move their existing components into billet.
Do I need any tools?
No. The Fully Assembled panel plugs into the factory connector and snaps in by hand in under 2 minutes.
Do I need to run my own wires from the battery?
No. The panel is plug and play. It uses the factory wiring that's already behind your rear power panel and plugs straight into the stock connectors, so there's nothing to run back to the battery.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every TEQ Offroad Cargo Power Panel is backed by a lifetime warranty.
